The protector series was first thought of in the early 2000’s, however I was too young and inexperienced then to write the book, so I did nothing with the story.
Until in 2018 I went to see Bernard Cornwell give a talk about his new book, during this event he talked about how old he was he started writing, he was mid 30’s I believe and that if he had started writing before then he wouldn’t have had the life experience to give his books depth….well that is what I took away from it anyway.
So I had banked 18 years of life experience and finally took the ideas I had scribbled down all those years ago and started to commit them to paper and a proper story.
So the protector series was born, with “Recursive” being the first book of a 5 book series.
Hopefully people enjoy it, if not I’ll have to bank 18 more years of experience and try again.
